Who is Gustafer Yellowgold?
Gustafer Yellowgold is a friendly, sun-headed cartoon character created by illustrator and musician Morgan Taylor. Since 2005, Taylor’s multimedia project has combined original music with live-drawn animations, creating a whimsical world that’s part concert, part storybook, and part Saturday morning cartoon.
What is their music like?
The songs sit somewhere between indie-pop, folk, and soft rock—melodic, mellow, and slightly surreal. Each track introduces a new piece of Gustafer’s universe, with gentle humor and dreamlike storytelling.
Why we think you’ll love it
Gustafer Yellowgold offers something truly unique in family music: a fully imagined character and world that kids can enter into, paired with songs that adults will find beautiful and clever. Standout songs include Pinecone Lovely, I’m from the Sun, and Mint Green Bee. The blend of visuals and music makes it especially appealing for families who enjoy a multimedia experience.
