About us

Little Seeds Music specialise in inspiring young people and families through music and creativity.
Founded in 2020, our mission is to provide children and families of all types with unforgettable, high-quality musical experiences to enjoy and share together. Our work is supported and recognised by Arts Council England, and we have created work in association with Manchester International Festival, The Space, Half Moon Theatre, Z-arts, The Story Museum, The Met Bury, and Horse + Bamboo.
We produce theatre shows, gigs, workshops, and even video games, all with a focus on sparking creativity and connection through music. Our 2020 digital production Rolling Down The Road was named by The Guardian as one of the best pieces of theatre to stream that year, and our productions have since toured to leading venues including Polka Theatre, Southbank Centre, Lyric Hammersmith, Exeter Northcott, Brighton Dome, Nottingham Playhouse, HOME — and many, many more. Most recently, our family show Cinderella Ice Cream Seller was shortlisted for Best Children’s Show at the List Awards for Edinburgh Fringe 2025.
Alongside our touring productions, we also coordinate engagement projects across the country, providing opportunities for young people to develop their songwriting and composition skills.

Our Values and Vision

Our Values
shared experiences across generations
a child and family centred approach
changing perceptions and pushing boundaries
creating long lasting change
access to high quality music for all
Our Vision
We will provide families and children access to high quality music and song through live performances and workshops both within and outside the educational setting.
We will work to establish awareness of the importance of high quality music for families and children in the United Kingdom, developing a network of artists, labels, promoters and cultural organisations working together to achieve this.
We will support artists to create new music for children and families through mentoring, development sessions and producing and touring new work.
“The benefit of music education for me is about being musical. It gives you a better understanding of yourself. The horizons are higher when you are involved in music. Your understanding of art and the world, and how you can think and express yourself, are enhanced.”
Dr. Eric Rasmussen, chair of the Early Childhood Music Department at the Peabody Preparatory of The Johns Hopkins University, 2019
