A Present For Jack wows audiences this Christmas

This Christmas, our brand new festive musical A Present For Jack played to hundreds of children and families at the Story Museum, running in the Woodshed Theatre from 20–30 December.

Presented by Little Seeds Music, the show was written and composed by David Gibb, performed by David Gibb, Oli Matthews and Sean Law, and directed by Tristan Jackson-Pate.

A Present For Jack follows young Jack on a musical quest to find the perfect song for his dad, weaving together traditional tales, joyful original songs, and plenty of chances for audiences to join in. Packed with festive sparkle, magical storytelling, and brilliant live music, it was a joy to share the show with so many families over the Christmas period.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to The Story Museum for welcoming us so warmly and for being such a wonderful home for family theatre. We’re already feeling excited about our plans for 2026 and can’t wait to return with more music-filled stories for children and families in Oxford and beyond.
